Last Saturday I as I do every saturday night went to steele.(the local 1/4 track). The first thing I noticed was Adam B.‘s Single turbo Toyota supra. His clutch was slippin really bad and he could not get any times better then high 12’s when Usually he run’s low 11’s. I said what the hell I guess I would run him just for fun. The best time I have ever ran was a 13.04 so I figured with some good luck maybe I could pull it off. We ran twice. The first run I missed 2nd and ran a 14.8. He had a pretty good run, a mid 12 I think. The second time we ran, I got him off the line and had him untill third. He pulled about a half car on me and by 5th he had pulled 2 cars. I pulled around to get my slip’'s and saw that I had ran my fastest 1/4 run to date. 12.89@107. I was pretty excited to I went looking for someone else to race. I noticed a white HB civic with a prelude motor. I went over and talked to him. Really nice guy, he offered to run. So we ran but only ounce. I left the tree and had him pretty bad, I went to shift to second and that’s when it happen, I snaped the shifter in half. So anyway he ran a 13.4 and I was sitting at the 60 foot with a broke shifter. We got the car back to my house and today I ordered a skunk2 shifter, my firiend has one and he shifts like he’s in a indy car and it has’nt broke yet so I decided to get it. So I ran my best time to date and broke the shifter in half. I will let you guy’s know how the skunk2 shifter works when I get it.

Awesome times. My best so far is a 14.004 with a highest trap of 106.87mph. As soon as I learn to drive maybe I can run a 12 too. 
where is steele at? i’ve only heard of silver dollar(is that it?) and commerce
Crap, the only 1/4 tracks I know of anywhere close to here are Silver Dollar and Commerce. Where is Steele?

yeah cecil hooks real good. I run my best time last nite a 13.88 @ 96.96 with a 1.99 60 ft. I would like to see what a turbo DA does at cecil :dance:
where in GA was the track you were at? i doubt i’d ever come out to run, but it would be cool to meet up sometime.

Sorry about the confusion guy’s I no longer live in Atlanta, I moved to Birmingham,Al. Steele is a track about a hour away from Birmingham. I drive 92 Integra LS with GSR motor out of 94-95 integra, complete bolt on’s, skunk2 cam’shaft,cam gears, retainer’s, valve’s, valve springs, and intake manifold, type R oil pan,typeR piston’s and type R fuel pump, and vtec controller. That is the basic setup though. I got the skunk2 shifter in and went to the track tuesday night. I ran low 13’s. The shifter makes the gears feel really close, I’m trying to get use to it right now. Hopefully I want to turbocharge it but that mean’s the type R piston’s are coming out. I don’t know yet, I like the thought of having a all motor integra though. It’s fun to put 5 car’s on a mustang and then he pull’s over and ask’s where the bottle is, when I tell them it’s all motor they flip. I gtg for now but will post later, peace.
Oh my bad man let me answer your question’s, I run 15 inch volk racing wheel’s with whatever tire’s were on them when I bought them, to tell you the truth I hav’nt evan looked, lol. I think there faulken though. And I have ground control coil’s and upper and lower strut bars. I need a camber kit, my tires are seriously at a angle right now, I don’t know much about suspension, anyone think it will hurt the suspension if I left it like that?
Your suspension will be fine, but an alignment like that is murda on your tires. An alignment on your car with a camber kit should help you hook up better. If you have bad camber, you may only be using 75% of your contact patch.
Yeah I looked on the inside of my tires the other day and they are looking really bold. I guess I’m about to get new tires and maybe a camber kit. What are some good tires that won’t break my wallet?
not bad …yea im going to need to look into a camber kit also …im looking to buying some volk TE-37’s but im want to run a slick on them though …but good luck though …once you get used to the new shifter you’ll be back to droping your normal et’s if not better …
