One of my friends has a G2 with a b16 swap, it only has intake & catback and his best q/m time was 15.3 with 15" street tires and full interior.
So you should be getting better than 16.0 (my LS with I,H,E did a 15.7) either something is wrong with your motor or you need more practice. Try checking the timing, sparkplugs, wires, ect… just tune it up.

i was dropping 15.68 stock, just recent went to 15.0 on a low comp b20, w/ i/h and stock replacement exhaust and new clutch…
86mph trap speed is kinda low for your setup. im guessing youre getting a lot of wheel spin at launch, its not hooking up and accelerating… i do suggest a tune-up just in case. but it seems like its all driver.

2.3 60ft? thats not good at all with drag radials? at what rpm are you launching at? if you think the car is a piece of shit go ahead and use another integra or something else comparable to what you have. i gaurantee you its the driver. its too bad youre giving up and calling the teg a piece of shit. man up and learn better driving skill!

shifting at 7700? do you have your vtec x-over set lower or you’ll be dropping out of vtec in thru shifts
its not the driver. i lauched it at 6500 it bogged or the clutch gave a little. either way the car is still slow. trust me, i know i am not the best driver out there. but even if i get the 60 ft lower maybe 2.1,2.0 the car is still slow. my ef hatch with full int. 80 lbs of roll cage and a minime swap was faster.
also, track conditions last night weren’t the best. it was really humid & i was at atlanta dragway, which isn’t exactly the best anyways.
and this “man up learn better driving skills”, i just posted this thread to get opinions on the car, not criticism of the driver. i’m not trying to start shit or be a prick…you just keep repeating yourself, saying it’s driver error…if you don’t have any ideas about the car, then don’t say anything at all.
rev limit is 7900. vtec kicks in at 4800…i don’t know if that’s factory or not on this engine. i don’t fall out of vtec though.
check to see if the o2 sensor is okay sometimes that can bog down performance. maybe you got a motor that is not as healthy as you think.
u should get the car dynoed, looks like ur motor prolly isnt that healthy. and ur should prolly get a better ecu. 7900 redline on a b16 is kinda silly when they have a stock redline of 8000 and they get all there hp at 7800. so u should buy another ecu or get a better chip for the one u have.
Maybe lowering your launch to a lower rpm band and a new clutch and flywheel. I would also suggest a diff ecu. My p72 stock runs all the way to 8500.
If it was me i’d launch around 4000 where your torque is and right before vtec kicks in so you dont spin the whole time. drags or not, you too high.
had it dynoed 138hp 100tq. but valves were way out of adjustment. when i launched a 4000 it didnt run as fast.did compression check 195 -200 all four cyl. throttle body wide open.
at what rpms were u getting that 138 hp and 100ft/lbs. that will give u a good idea of were to shift and stay in ur powerband.

it might be the weather conditions when it was really hot and humid and i ran i ran like high 16’s evo’s were running 15’s but when it was cooler i ran low 15’s might be the weather humidity can play a factor as well as the condition of the track.
