wat up g2ic, heres the deal i purchased a obd0 pr3 ecu and its is bad…reason being is that ecu is running car way to rich like misfire rich and with knock sensor pin run straight to ground check engine light comes on for knock sensor code 23…i have a chipped p28 ecu and was wondering if i can still use the obd0 distributor still i know they sell conversion harness the entire thing only reason i want to use the obd0 distributor is because its brand spankin new i was wondering if i de pin the obd 0 distributor and re pin it for obd1 setup let me know what yall think or cost efficient methods to fix the bad ecu problem
why not just get a different ecu? pretty sure i have an obd0 pr3 laying around

ECU and must must be the same. So no, you can’t use an obd0 dist with an obd1 ECU.
Maybe there’s more I don’t know, but your rationale for the ECU being bad doesnt seem correct to me. If an ECU is bad it usually just stops working, it doesn’t run strange. Sounds like you just need to get it dyno tuned.
