I have a b20z DA with a pr4 obd1 distributor that I suspect is on its way out because it is making rattling noises when the car is running. I suspect that this is the cause of my TERRIBLE idle (i have to physically keep the car idled at 1500 until it warms up) and acceleration bogging.
I cannot afford a NEW obd1 distributor and can’t seem to find anyone selling one. I do, however, had a obd0 pr4 distributor from my b18a that worked fine when it was in the car.
My question is: can I swap the internals from the obd0 into the obd1 and have it function properly?
