Has anyone had problems with clearance issues b/w the tranny case and the bearing?? I beleive my stock shim will need to be removed.

There is a very well written article on Honda-tech in regards to the obx lsd and what shims to use.
i want to say it was around .040" total thickness, but i did read that article on H-T and i know some said they used no shims. I wouldn’t suggest it
so the stock is 80mm which means im going to need to get it shaved down half??? Thats some good info b/c I didnt know what to tell the machinest. I mean I tell him I need some material removed and the machinest is like " how much". I will probably take car of it this week. Im ready for LSD.
FYI- Ive installed 2 in our cars and both work great, no shims, just re TQed the bolts and have been driving and racing over a year and a half now…

any of you guys had problems with your LSD’s?
i have an OBX in my transmission, and i think it took a shit. i am getting a huge vibration when i turned right, if i push the clutch in, the vibration goes away, if i leave it in, it continues to feel like the whole car is going to fall apart.
