I have noticed lately on ebay there alot of OBX “parts” in particular things like the intake manifolds, fuel rails, valve covers, (not sure) throttle bodies, (not sure) cam timing gears. Are these things any good? or is this a case of you pay for what you get…
anyone experienced them? or who has had friends buy these products can you please share…
I have an OBX stainless steel test pipe on my CRX and it is very good quality. The fit, finish and function is perfect. I’ve also installed them on a few G2’s with the same satisfaction. I’m trying to find an OBX LSD to install in the Y1 for my CRX engine swap project (poorman ITR).
I have bought many OBX product, happy with everything I have gotten. I was impressed with the quality for the price.
i have OBX coilover sleeves and i can still adjust them unlike alot of other cheap sleaves that freeze up
I used to hate OBX (pushing Johnnys car back to his place in hte rain after the OBX shifter broke and falling on my face) but anymore some of thier parts are pretty nice for the price. Thier IC’s are bar and plate and huge for the price. Thier headers are nice as well. I put one on my b16a EF and its holding up great. We put one of thier LSD’s in our turbo hatch and it seems to be holding up great (last dyno was 239 on the ground, and we have a upgraded turbo now supposidly we are in the 300-350 range now). Just dont believe all thats listed in thier catalog. Half the stuff I call on is not available.
I have one of their mufflers and it sounds and looks great. I always get asked what muffler do you have b/c it sounds really good. Its nice and smooth and not that bumble bee rice in a can. I also have their header and it hasnt cracked and looks great. Ive got a test pipe but rarely run with it on.

I have an OBX short ram, its not a part that takes abuse but it fits and doesnt rub against anything around it like ebay ones are good for. I also have a set of OBX plug wires, dont remember the gage but their good too, and currently I am looking at getting their preformance radiator hose. I am surprised too with the quality for the money you pay. GL
