OEM arm rest

Does any body have a pic or an explanation on where is the best place to bolt the oem arm rest

Is your car a 90-91? If so just mount it wherever it feels comfortable. If it’s a 92-93 you will have holes predrilled from the factory to mount it

is a 92 gsr… is the holes under the rug ? by the rear ashtray

thanks for your help

Holes arent pre drilled but are indented for correct spots.

This I strange that your gsr didn’t have the holes drilled already. From my understanding all of the gsr came with the factory armrest.

No this statement is not correct. The armrest was an option for all years of g2 Integras.

Do the 90-91 models also have the indents for proper placement?

My 91 LSS had the indents that had to be drilled out for the rivet nuts to be installed. I wil look and see if I still have the instruction / installation sheets.

I found the indents

and no my gsr did not come with armrest ( Honda fail) on not giving it standard… lol

thanks for the info. I thought all db2 gsr had the armrest standard and not optional.

90-91 models had a dealer option for the shoe horn armrest that bolted into the driver seat.

92-93 models had the dealer option for the more common armrest. There are 2 threaded bolt holes already pre-tapped for installation for the armrest on the floor back towards the rear ashtray/ e-brake as mentioned above. The front 2 bolt holes have to be drilled, tapped, and dyed. I have the oem instructions for installation if anyone needs them for detailed installation.

Also, for those looking for an armrest, the 90-93 accords (cb7) had an armrest similar to the integra. From my understanding, it will also bolt up the same way.

Kinda late on this but can you email me or text me photos of detailed instructions?

I can host those instructions on G2IC for safe keeping too if you’d email them to me.

i got my car on a level garage and used the level on the arm rest and just drilled it in with self tapping metal screws

Neil I will look for the instructions. When I find them I will scan and email them to you.

Update, I found the instructions and will scan them when I get back from vacation. I also found the instructions for the rear sun shade, will also scan it.

Neil, I have the instructions in PDF. Email me your email address and I will forward.
