Heh, Ok I’m not really reviewing this, but I guess I wanted to share some thoughts and ask a question.

Good? Basically, I like mine. It lets me open the roof and get some air when it’s blazing outside or raining a bit, or when I’m driving on the highway and I don’t want too much noise. Looks alright from outside, and fits nicely.

Bad? I guess it kinda blocks the view a bit, and makes the opening seem much smaller.

My beef? Where it contacts the roof, it has scratched my roof paint to the point where the clear coat is gone and the paint is scratched. This is mainly due to the original rubber stripping getting kinda hard.

Anyone have any tips on how to install it and keep the scratches and dirt line from forming? I’ve considered running some new rubber stripping between the roof and the visor. Or maybe so far as some lite removable silicone?

Yeah, my old Integra had the same thing, where around the edges of the sunroof where it meets with the roof my paint was actually down to the primer.

I don’t there is much you can do, because when you are driving the wind will cause movement to the sunroof visor, much like a flat piece of paper in the wind… fluttering, that’s what causes the paint to scratch off.
