OG Member Since Early 2000, Back In Action with a 1992 GSR

I haven’t owned a DA since 2008 as I got burned out on having cars from owning a shop for 8 years. Finally got the bug again & came across a deal that was too good to pass up. Missed being around the G2IC enthusiasts. Some of the best at the time because of the dedication to their builds. Hope much hasn’t changed over the years.

The Car:

1992 GSR
130K original miles.
All original metal & paint from what I can tell though I recently sent the bumpers off to paint for refinishing.
Ground Control Coilovers with Koni Yellows
Mugen MR5’s though i’m not fond of the refinishing that the wheels had prior to my purchasing. The centers are flat place with gloss black lips. Would like to get them refinished to original specs.
Mot sure what exhaust is on it. May have to post a photo of it later to get it identified.
From what i’ve seen, the car has been around the net because of the Florida shop it was connected to. I have gone through the interior replacing most of the weathered parts though it was in 8/10 shape upon purchase. Just addressing the little things.
Worked on getting the Frost White back to it’s original shine for a couple of days.
Replaced the sunroof due to the tray rusting out around the drain tubes.

Anyhow, here it is.

More pics?

What number is it?

Very nice, looks like this car has a lot of potential. In for pics…

Wonderful to see someone starting out right and not just putting visors and low offset wheels on the car. Looks like a great starting point.

Yes! another white DB2! Looking good!

Lipless looks okay from this angle.

Lol, just put visors on last night. However, I’ve addressed all my interior issues, typical leaks on the motor & saving the paint so I thought I’d spoil the car cosmetically a bit.

You won’t see any “Stance” “Crazy Offsets” or “Stretched Tires” on this thing. Keeping it minimal & focusing on a quality build.

#2375 Is Chassis Number. Here’s a few interior shots & engine bay as well as my other projects for shits n giggles.

Idiots wrote the milage as to when the T Belt was done on the plug wire cover. As if the invoice wasn’t enough. Prior owner, not me or i’d have blown a gasket on someone.

98’ Civic/Domani front end. ITR swap, CTR Trans, too many other mods to list. Getting ready for paint.

77’ Datsun 620 Official Parts Hauler. Barn find & runs like a champ!

Glad to see a proper car in proper hands

Too many young folk and all-around idiots picking these things up and ruining them.

Thanks man! It will be era correct and stay clean.

Looks to be a very clean db2! Nice find!

I really like that EK hatch too. I think it’s the front end, which is ironic because I’m really not a fan of it on my buddies EK sedan. You still own that car or it was a previous project?

Own all three currently. Can’t afford to sell the hatch because I won’t get anywhere near what the street value is on all the parts. Will be going in for paint if I can find a shop locally that isn’t high on crack when they quote me.

If you were local I’d offer some help on the paint…

Always been a fan of a proper Domani/Gemini front end swap.

Any other shots of it?

All three cars are kick ass, honestly.

Thanks for the compliments. Do you have a legit shop you work out of? Wouldn’t hesitate to make the drive for the sake of getting a decent price for proper work. I’m actually in Denver so you’re just up the road a ways.

AMEN…it’s gotten really bad lately.

All three cars definitely kick ass. You have great taste…love that truck!

Can anyone ID this exhaust for me?

Bumpers & Mirrors are back from paint & look kick ass!
