Moving out of state and I’ve got too many vehicles. This was my project vehicle that got away from me and not enough time to finish. Motor is B18A - 4cyl 1.8L 5 speed. Took out A/C
The good:
KYB GR2 shocks
Tein springs
Lightened fly wheel 11-12lbs (GSR machined down)
Radiator, hoses, thermostat replaced 3-4 years ago
Good tread on tires - steelies
70K on rebuilt engine (done by 35yr professional mechanic)
New clutch added at the same time
Have a new blower motor for it
K&N filter - short ram intake
Off brand 4-2-1 headers
Off brand exhaust (2.5in)
The bad:
Body has the typical honda rust - wheel wells mostly
Clear coat is starting to flake off
Dash is partially out on lower passenger side (have the pieces) - fixing the blower motor (have brand new one)
Haven’t taken the steps to fix the tracks to keep trunk constantly dry
Wipers are not working
Small side rear driver side window needs replaced
This is hands down the most reliable car I’ve had but I have not been driving it the last few months due to the wipers and I haven’t had the time to fix it. Before that it was my DD for many years and I pretty much babied it - no red lining - easy on the clutch, etc.
It has great heart in the engine but the little things are starting to have issues as with cars it’s age, little electrical things and mostly the body stuff.
I really hate to get rid of it, but having 4 vehicles, it has to be the one to go and now with kids it is not the most practical either. Still in Columbus for now -send text to (828) 435-0881
