I’m looking for another clean DA! Prefer 92/93 especially BLACK…may do 90/91 if it’s black. Must be clean/fair trade. 5 SPEED ONLY
My car has 280k miles on it, but you wouldn’t even know it. It starts up every time, idles at 750, heats up right and stays right below the picture on the temp gauge. Doesn’t leak a drop of anything, no smoke. The paint is very clean, and the only rust is a spot on the driver’s side wheel well, and a tiny one on the pass. side rocker panel. The clearcoat is starting to peel like typical. Never been in an accident.
The good:
-Power windows, locks, sunroof, mirrors
-Keyless entry and Clifford alarm
-4 to 1 header
-full catback twin loop exhaust, NOT loud
-short throw shifter
-cold air intake
-lowered on coilovers
-brakes are in great shape
-new tie rods
-new battery, alternator, battery terminals, grounds
-new distributor
-new Exedy stage 1 clutch, it is kind of heavy, feels like cable
The bad:
-battery light flickers every once in a while…narrowed it down to a loose connection somewhere, most of the everything else is brand new in the circuit…I mean you can go hundreds of miles and not see it come on, and when it does, it’s maybe for 10 seconds…not a big deal at all
-the struts in the rear are blown so you must drive with care
-shifting from second to third gear will grind if the RPMs are high
-it will not come with the CD player
-the ABS light is on sometimes. I have never tried to see if it works, previous owner said it does
-the blades stay with me, we will swap wheels
Other than that the car literally needs nothing. It runs and drives amazing, the steering is tight, it accelerates like it should, EVERYTHING works on it.
All that being said I expect the trade to be in the same condition. NO PROJECTS, no flat black shit paintjobs, nothing wrecked, no hacked up swap or wiring jobs. Must run and drive like mine does, and would prefer the exterior to be in similar condition. The interior of this car is very clean, although it is tan and after 18 years there are some stains here and there. Basically I want a fair trade. I LIKE this car a lot and am in NO hurry to get rid of it so I am totally fine with waiting on the right DA. The only reason I want to trade is I have a very soft spot for DAs, they are my favorite Hondas and I’m itching to have another one. If I can’t find what I’m looking for, I am very content driving this car.
I am in the Akron area and willing to travel 1-2 hours in any given direction.
Again, looking for:
92-93 Integra, 3 door, MUST be 5 speed manual GREATLY PREFER BLACK!! If you have a 90-91 that is black I may go for that too…
Similar condition as far as exterior, interior and the way it runs and drives
I would probably be okay with 100% stock if it was very clean, some mods may be okay if they are not hack jobs
