Yea, I posted this befor and people don’t usually know this but I work for an Acura dealership and diffrent part #'s don’t mean anything they use the same oil filters on Integras, RSX, NSX, RL, CL, TL and MDX no diffrence between type-s either…sorry

Did they not switch to a smaller filter on the newer Honda’s? I’m pretty sure they did. Cause I’ve seen an OEM filter for an Integra and one for an RSX and they don’t look the same.

Hmmmm… I remember Marc Sasso talking about using a larger filter so that the oil would cool more? I can’t remember for sure, but are their other disadvantage of using this smaller filter? I thought bigger is always better? jk

roughly 5psi more pressure Dan… proven on my buddies 10 sec drag car. oh btw i was using OEM (blue Filtech) RSX/02 civic filters… hehe bought a case. would be nice to get me some HAMP ones though.
