Ok so I have a obd0 b16 disstributore that is leaking oil from inside the cap… I noticed while replacing the rotor so is there a gasket that I need to get or is it something that wont go away unless I replace the entire disstributore?

i think mine did that too. replace the o-ring. you can get it at an acura or honda dealership. if its a honda dealership just say its for a 99-00 civic si or del sol vtec.
on second thought mine wasnt leaking inside the cap. my bad. i just remembered.
cool but where does the oring go cuz i cant find it in the diagram?
oh wow I didnt se it until I loaded the diagram and enlarged the pic…
also forgot to mention if I should mark the position of the disstributore since I could alter the timming… Im asking cuz Im not sure if I could throw off the timming if i was to just bolt it back up with no guidline to follow.
