Has anybody added baffles to their stock oilpan? If so any tips or pics?
i heard something about J doing that, but i could be wrong…maybe he’s just got the mugen one.
the stock pan looks pretty well baffled.

I wish i had a pic of my pan so you could see the difference, maybe someone else has a pic.
Please explain the benefits of this pan… I am sure they cost a lot.
a most invaluable part on road racing/circuit track racing cars. reason: because on instances of long sweeping turns, for example, oil tends to collect to one side of the pan, and not in the middle of the pan where the collector (oil pickup) is.
high rpm+no oil= :down:
the baffles help to prevent possible oil starvation by keeping the oil where the collector is.

any idea how many g’s for you to pull for it to actually make a difference? the stock pan looks baffled pretty damn well from side to side.
Okay, so is this why a P72 pan is required for racing? Is it a good upgrade to go GSR pan for LS motors, or only for racing?
