OIL pans and headers

I just got my header and it was suppose to fit a 90-93 teg but it will not clear the oil pan, The header comes down to far to the drivers side. Its like the bump pick-up area in the pan is to big. This is the wrong header for this car , So what could it be for? D series?
and do the 92-93 cars have a different oil pan with smaller bump ?

I did some searching and it looks like the 92-93 integras use a tri-y from factory but the 90-91 use a single pipe on the bottom of the pan. This to me says it needs a different pan? Although everyone says a B series pan is a B series pan

THANX

90-91 and 92-93 have different oil pans…

but i have a DC Sports 4-2-1 SS Header. which is basically the same design as 92-93 header on my 91 and there is no clearance issues at all…

it seems like they might have sent you the wrong header… probably a B16 fitment.

as for b-series oil pans being all the same, they are not. they do fit all b-series blocks but they aren’t all the same.

I just looked at my OBD1 JDM B16 oil pan and its the same as the 90 integra pan on the car.
So you think the 92-93 had a different pan than the 90? HMMM

This header is a try-y and the stock one that came off was a single pipe

Found this thread that says they are 2 different pans

I also found this and it says there are 2 different ones aswell

I am going to my buddies house tonight to compare mine to his 94 GSR pan. I was thinking that my JDM B16A pan could be different than a USDM B16B pan aswell.

The B16 and the 92-93 B18A share the same oil pan, they even have the same part numbers.
The part numbers are different for the 90-91 oil pans and the 92-93 oil pans.
Part # 11200-PR3-010 for the 90-91 B18A and Part # 11200-P30-010 for the 92-93 B18A and for the B16.
Good Luck.

Yes but what B16? Mine is a B16A JDM engine and it is clearly the same as the 90 teg B18A pan
I am guessing the B16B in the same as the B18 92 + pan

I think what I am looking for is a 92+ non vtec B18 pan

I should’ve been more clear in my posts.

the reason why a B16 header will not (sometimes) fit on a B18 block is due not to the oil pan but rather because the B16 has a shorter deck height.

also… do you have a picture of the “tri-y” that you speak of?

Please do not laugh when you see this and I know you get what you pay for but I could not resist and figured it would at least take some weight off the front of the car even if it gained NO horsepower

yeah that look just like a standard 4-2-1 header.

My header is also a 4-2-1 also, particularly a 92-93 fitment but the only difference is where the collector flange is since 90-91 headers are longer (in terms of where it meets the cat)

I had no fitment issues as far as the oil pan because of the design of the headers…

I think at this point I will find a 92 + B18 non vtec pan and see the difference. It could just be that the header was built WRONG. Hey cant expect much for that price

Found the same issue here

This guy has the same looking header and the exact same problem which make me think its from another car.

Maybe a D series?

I’m having the same problem with my 91 RS. The pipe hits the oil pan.

I runined the stock pipe because of the rusted cat bolts and now it looks like I either have to go back to stock with a new pipe or change the oil pan to a 92+ design.

Were you able to confirm the 92+ pan is different?

Is it 100% swapable with the 90-91 deign?

Were you able to install the headers once you swaped to the 92+ pan?

Put on a 92+ oil pan and with some minor tweaking (due to extra cheap front pipe) everything installed correctly.
