My oil pump failed on me a few weeks ago and it destroyed the block, heres some pictures (have a new engine put in as of last week)
All 4 pistons were f***ed… (when I do it, I do it right!!)
One of my friends also decided to clean one and take it home… souvenirs… haha
Man that looks fucking brutal. How do they fail? How long was it knocking before it fried the block?
was knocking for about 30KM’s at an average of 3000 revs doing 55(ish) mph
Shit thats bad and ive seen alot of engines fuck up!
some jb weld and it will be fine lol. mine failed to but i just got a spun bearing and i shut it off and tore it down and rebuilt it.
im still trying to find time to dive into my block and figure out what happened.
im assuming something likeness to what youve got there is the case for myself as well.
