i got my oil pump for an ls/vtec and it bolts right up but do i just bolt it up on there or do i need to put some of that engine lube on there.
read the helms manual! if you haven’t bought one or just don’t want to you can download it off the internet (there is a post in the archives forum about the helms, it gives a website where you can download it —i believe its titled something to the effect of “Need Helms manual for 90-91” --eventhough the helms they post is for 92-93. in your case it won’t matter for the oil pump.)
Basically all you’re gonna need is a new oil pump pickup gasket, an oil pump o-ring, and some hondabond (email me if you need the part numbers).
hondabond that is that stuff that you put on the pump before bolting it on well i have plenty of that **** just it isn’t from honda so whatever.
