ok, im new here so sorry bout soundin dumb and all, i posted this in the GD forum before i reallized what i did. first off, this is at the strip, not on the streets that we would race:
Ok, I got a quick question, so this guy is talking sh*** over at a mall by my house, he revs his engine while im walking so i challenge him to a race in 2 weeks when i get my car running again. Just out of curiosity, i know the 2004 Eclipse GS is pushing about 147HP@5500 and weighs about 2965lbs, now I’m guessin, all the guy has under the hood is an intake and m_a_y_b_e some headers, not to mention a shiny muffler on the back, now i know all i have on my car is a Weapon R filter on a custom made cold air pipe, but im pretty sure I’d be able to take him, anyone think otherwise? im just curious.

My Car- 1992 Integra GSR B17a, cold air intake Weapon R

is his car a 5sp??
it will probably be a race to see who has the fastest slow car. but your gsr is rated at 160 hp and weighs a few hundred less than his.
but make sure to take out your spare and stuff before you race him and if you dont suck at racing you could win.

I had no problem pulling on a V6 Eclipse (man, I can barely even stand to call those cars Eclipses) in my 90 RS that was stock. *Well, it had a shitty ass custom CAI, but the thing probably added more weight than it did power.
