 ok so I have a 1993 gsr and I have the b17a1 motor in it. but I cant find too many parts for it. but at the same time I dont want to be like everyone else with a b18. so what do you think I should do if I want to be different and still have a car I can find decent parts for? I dont want to put nitrous on anything and turbos are a possibility but I dont want to spend that much cash…can someone throw me some pointers?
If you don’t have much cash just leave it alone. Your car is pretty unique. Enjoy it.
Perhaps you could find a local autocross group and work on tightening the nut behind the wheel. You’ll find that the engine isn’t the only thing that’s slowing you down.
Hey man, you do know that all the B-sereies parts are swapable, right? Not tring to be an ass, just saying.I have a B20b in a 91 hatch with suspension, and that thing is money. Like the dude said, try adn do some suspension work and see how that makes you feel. If you don’t like that then just get some minor stuff, like cams and cam gears. Maybe i/h/e if you don’t already have all that. That’s just my two cents.:bowthank:
integrakid, how far are you from Ft Lauderdale?
I’m located in Coral Springs.
If you have a GS-R aka DB2’s and is looking for a place to start modding, then you should consider starting with the Suspension, Wheels and Tires. Intake, Header and Catback exhaust system.
Like 90b16ed said, b series parts are interchangeable. like intake manifolds for itr and b16 are the same. Pistons , cams, cam gears, etc.
What are you looking for that you can’t find?
