Oklahoma DA project

So it has been awile since i have updated this and i now have my car back so here are some pics of it as i am buffing it… its now going to start going back together…

This was all done by my friend and I so its not the best… but it will work… There is alot of buffing and some wet sanding left…

i will get some better pics soon…

Maybe its just me and the pictures, but i see orange peel. Im sure it looks a lot better in person. we need some good pictures in the light.

I will say, I love that color man:up:

beautiful color!!

my da is exact same colour, painted it like 9 months ago. i love the colour

Ya… i WILL GET BETTER PICS…

Here are some better paint pics and some progress… by the way cutting your own holes in the carpet sucks…

Oh thats a whole lot better.

Impressive DIY job

More progress!
The 1300 dollar tranny…

Interior going back in.

Had to see them mounted.

only until i get the new front one, the cross members being painted via shane, thanks buddy.

Our guide, came with the tape for free.

Motor and tranny mounted with the exedy clutch and flywheel inside, still awaiting some tranny bolts.

Motor in, about time. put it in all by myself, only because i could not wait for shane.

whats the motor specs?

What you mean? compression? built? liters?

everything, what did you do to it? and what did you do to the transmission

there are pics in first couple pages. But it has SRP pistons, Eagle rods, Crower dual springs, Crower titanium retaners, Brian Crower stage 2 turbo cams, Cromer stainless steel valves. 8.5:1 compression for about 15 psi its about a 1.85 liter. Tranny has had complete reman with some slight improvments.

Really nice work man

…that shit is BLUE!!! me likey

for $1300 it better have more than some “Slight” Improvments:D

Wow this is looking better all the time! I can’t wait for the finished product

Nice build. Love the BLUE!

Thanks guys!
