Oklahoma DA project

^ yes, and the complete rocker assembley… only thing that will be different is vtec will be engaged constantly, on exhaust side, and it wont have the A2 compression…

I dont know the compression ratios offhand lol

sorry, i am still learning alot about them…

lol its all good, that’s the only way to do it

Here are some updates…

This is the high build primer we used to finish all imperfections…

Here is before we sprayed… complete car blocked with 80 grit… you can also see some of the holes and seems that we shaved in the engine bay…

Welded in nuts for cdm seat belts… Scraped all sound deadner offf floor…

This after the primer spray…

looking good!

The primer has all been blocked with 120… Then we sprayed it with 2k acrylic primer and i am currently guide coating and wet ssanding with 400 grit… Hope to have it sprayed Monday or Tuesday…

It’s coming along nice, looking forward to seeing some paint on it.

That high build primer covers up blocked 80 grit sandsratches? Nice work btw

^ ya… Here is the floor after I painted it… It is covered with dust and water from wet sanding…but you can see what it looks like…

The whole car wet sanded with 400 grit…

Looking good man. Are you going to be leaving the interior bare? Now that i’m back, i’m going to have to come check out that thing…

I am going to put all interior except rear seats, and no trunk stuff… just call me sometime…

Its Painted…finally

This is the paint after 3 coats paint… wet sanding between coats… And 3 coats of clear… Still have to spray doors, fenders, trunk, and floor…

Also keep in mind this still has to be color sanded… to get a good reflection and ultimate shine…

Nice. Cant wait to see it finished? Plan on buffing as well?

^ Yes…

Looks good. I changed the color on mine as well, but I have to say. I took the lazy route. You are doing it right. We painted jams and all, and the car looks good, but we didn’t pull interior, and I left my engine bay black.

You are gonna have a show quality ride. Keep up the good work.
