wow camera phone for the loss, this is as big as the pictures will get
curious, where did you pick up that elbow that you welded to the intercooler? tia
ebay, from etd motors they have all sizes
Nice car just as a remember it Seth If not better. Glad to see you still have it. This is bryan bridges btw.
haha wow when was the last time you were on here? What you drive now?
He got a srt8 i think
So i have driven the car around 70 miles now, and have a very minimal amount of coolant coming from right and left side of the head, just seeping, not dripping, and i have oil running from #3 cylinder exhaust port on the manifold. I really noticed a problem when the car sat, and then started. Smoked until engine achieved operating temps. So i removed the head to find valve guides with excessive play, and a very poor head surface, so sent it all out to Watts Shop for valve jod, new bronze valve guides, he found 2 bent valves, and he found the springs had been surging. So he shims springs for proper pressure for the left and duration of my bc2 cams, and resurfaced the cylinder head as well as installed copper o-rings around combustion chamber for better seal. Pics following.
the block with head removed to be sent out
the new turbo precision 5857 t4
turbo 4 inch inlet with t-bolt clamps
SynchroTech lsd to assist with traction
new precision 600hp intercooler
the 2 bent valves the were found in the head
the car finally found wheel caps to fit the racing hart cp-035
The cylinder head back from machine
So the head is back on, exhaust manifold welded back up, new turbo installed
Trimmed the intercooler down and welded the 90s on the end, also had to trim the upper back to clear the wastegate, as well as bumper
Waiting for intake pipe and new aem air filter as well as new odyssey battery and bracket
New custom aem air filter installed
Nice!
Thanks
