Oklahoma DA project

ohhhhhhh. thats nice

I dont think it has ever been done, but it is a pain.

I am going to use the gsr vss.

would the rxs dash fit? or is that to much work?

not sure! I dont think thats been tried yet. I think the rsx dash is to rounded compared to our dash.

this guy did it. i think i read something about him molding the back half of the dash to fit

Thats crazy. Its looks as though the gauges have super slow response time though.

yea, could be a little bit of the video but you were going to wire up the cluster anyway, so its not like the dash would effect that

Ya, I think if I could change dashes it would be the dc dash. But I dont think I want to do that much, and I still like my dash.

I like the DA dash also, but the DC5 dash is based of the DA dash just up-dated:read: (how it faces you)
you should try and fit the actual gauges into the DA cluster:rockon:

Well I am currently molding the clear plastic piece as well as the black piece that goes from the clear to the gauge housing, to fit over the rsx gauges.

Heres what i am talking about, molding these two pieces together. There is still a couple spots that I will have to fill.

+1

either way, im sure it will turn out looking great but, like i said i think it would look better with the actual gauges and there faces in the DA cluster

I might have to try it, even though they are two different type of gauges

I wouldn’t know, but thats what I would do, or at least try

well I cant put the rsx gauges in the da cluster but I can put the da cluster around the rsx gauges.

Still has alot more work but it is getting there.

Is it me or this thread getting dead?

dead

Even though its dead i guess i will keep updating.:werd:

disregard the red around the button holes, it is covered when the buttons are in. Some kid painted the whole dash red when i bought it, so i had to scrape it off with a plastic spoon. :ok:
