well, i had been playing with the idea of selling the da for about a year now and moving on to something else. in an effort to keep myself interested, i recently boosted it, and had a lot of fun. but, i realized that no matter what i did to it the feeling wasnt going to go away. i loved my da, it taught me a lot and introduced me to some awesome people. i already miss it, but i feel its time to move on as everyone eventually does. we shot a few photos the day before i started taking it apart to sell, and i thought id post them up here. thanks to g2ic and anyone who ever gave props, bought/sold me parts, or offered up advice. im going to miss that old turd.
Really nice, and Good work. Thats a clean set of one pieces. I love the stock grill with the intercooler behind it, but from the side view, the sideskirts and lips dont match in my opinion. Overall the car is one of the cleanest i have seen in a while.
definitely one of the nicest DA’s out there. its a shame to see this car go and hopefully it goes to a good home. best of luck with your future project.
Loved the DA man… parting her or selling her whole?[/QUOTE]
i took a few things that can be found in my part out/for sale thread, but i sold the car with the lips and skirts. sorry, i know you were really after those skirts
the lip/skirt height almost never matches on da’s, unless its a full mugen kit or something. i remember when i didnt have a rear lip, looked a lot worse
thanks man, i always liked your car too. we’ll see what i end up in, im not completely set on anything as of now
thanks a lot, it was nice meeting you and herb at IA and with any luck ill be back there again this year!
thats one clean teg. i would of put it away in a garage somewhere for some years… and then pulled it back out like 5 years from now to come pair what it would like from the past to the present… lol thats just me
haha, i feel like it already sat it my garage for years! i want something i can enjoy a little more often. i didnt really feel comfortable doing much with it down here due to theft.
