kay look this is how it goes when i drive.
for a few miles. i have low gear only, then after that, it seems like its in neutral, no matter wat gear its in. if i pull over, shut it off for a few mins, i can go about another mile. then do it again. is this the torque convertor? I dunno. im so pissed and confused. this is supposed to be an approved used tranny. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
I take it you have an Automatic? Did you buy it from a shop or a private seller. Sounds like a bad tranny to me, that’s exactly what they do when they start to go.
to be honest i dont like buying used parts that involves anything hood, and car. Im not sure what it is, but cheacking with the dealer would be ur best bet. Sorry
Lockup Tq converter acting up? Check tranny fluid and see if it smells burnt (more than usual) or if the fluid is gone or low.
Ya, i think you got a bad traanyy buddy. Sorry to here that. Go get it checked out by a professional tranmission shop. Update this post, when you find out more!!
nsxmatt: i juss had them flush the valvoline fluid and put in HONDA FLUID! they said the valvoline was real burnt. and thats after only a few days driving. and its still doin it again… thanks guyz
integracon: i dunno where youre from, but im sure youve still heard of HAP, its used, but has a 90 day warranty.
