Omnipower Coilovers Full Review and Install

Highways aren’t bumpy on this setup, Colorado roads are pretty shitty over here. I drive to work everyday on the highway at 50mph or so and I’ve never noticed any bumpiness. So go order yourself some of these things, you’ll love em!

nice setup! you have my twin!!

How does the feel compare to stock? Can you even remember stock =p?

Not anymore!

whats that white stuff and why does your car have icicles hanging from it :hmm: :giggle:

looks good gray!

A big EFF YOU goes to Mr. California, lol.

Need this bullshit snow to go away so I can get some real pics.

I’m considering lowering my car this summer. Would you need to run a camber kit with this coilover set and do the washer trick in the rear?

You don’t need to do anything, but whenever lowering it will also push your wheels out further without something holding them in… I’d do a camber kit.

ingalls poly extreme and washers with my setup.

so does omni-power make a coilover that has an adjustable damper as well? i havent been able to find any more information on this. i was wanting adjustable damper because i auto-x, so i would like the extra adjustability.

No. If you want adjustable dampening go with Konis.

well damn, looks like im going with progress now.

Have you had any nev. camber problems with this setup

I have a camber kit. Lowering will always push your wheels out and add negative camber.

I was talking to someone about this and the said $80 a side for the rear and i will not need to have a camber kit in the front.

I only plan to drop about 2" with your setup. Can i go without the camber kit and the washer trick in the back?

$130 for both front axles at http://iapdirect.com ingalls model 35720.
washers shouldnt cost more than $15. otherwise you’d have to really watch your tires and rotate them often without camber kits. but you would still need the 4 wheel alignment so they can zero out your toe.

You have it mixed around. In the rear you add washers to the camber bolt to push the top of the wheel out away from the car. Which straights your camber… There is a teg tip if you need any more info on it.

first off thanks for the how to.

I lowered the front all the way without losing the preload and shit its at stock height. I gave Omni a call and they said to “just remove some of the preload” and I said wouldn’t it damage the struts and they said “because the car is light that it won’t damage” and I also mentioned about the old version and the newer version he than asked “when was it purchased” I said back on Nov from H-T and he asked “if it had a grove on the bottom collar” and I said “yes” he than says “WOW yes those are the newer version and that I’ll be fine.”

So I’m off to remove some preload $#&@%$&
