ok so i had to change my pads again, i ran endless VN pads and one pad on the passenger side was barely worn and all the other pads were worn all the way down evenly and i had a clicking noise when i always brake the first time from Reversing, or if i reversed and brake it would click, in the front i guess. now i have endless SSS pads. It feels like i have weird braking now and the clicking noise is still there,
Possible things that could be wrong that i read on here
-Bad mc
-seized calipers
-Brake proportion valve
I recently flushed my brake fluid with superblue ATE fluid and i bled in the order of the manual (left rear to front passenger, right rear to front left) and i also have the GS which has abs. the braking im feeling now is like the driver side is stopping harder than the right side because i have to keep my steering straight or i will start to feel the car swerving.
heres pics to what i’m talking about
should i re bleed the system to make sure the rear brakes are not making the front stick? or could anyone tell me what i should do. please help me because i paid $180 just for the front Endless SSS pads and don’t want them going bad
are the sliders jammed?is the piston in the caliper jammed? if neither are jammed then i really dont know how that happened. has this always happened or this is the first time with that set of pads?
i first did the brakes when i got the car and the pads that came with the car was fine, then i put the next set on and thats the pads that just came off. how are the sliders supposed to be posititioned? one seems a little sticky and i lubed it up good but it still seemed not as smooth as the others, what should i do with that?
make sure you clean and lube the clips where the pads sit. it could be that as the caliper releases the pad is still staying tight up against the rotor wearing it more than the rest. autozone sells some good stuff in a can with a brush that i use in my shop.
