hey guys, I just got my 92 integra and I am excited to get altezza style tail lights, but the only place I can find them is on eBay. I hear that websites sometimes have sketchy products. Do any of you have experience with such products, and would you recommend I proceed to get them from that site? (the eBay user in question does have a good rating). Thanks!

i don’t recommend them because EVERYONE has them. I would say go crazy and come up with something original/creative. Or maybe get some tail lights that you haven’t seen on anyone else’s car… to find wesites for integra stuff search for import auto parts and you should get soem websites.
You probably won’t find many if any fans of altezzas on here, but what is the name of the seller? Is it procarparts.com? I bought some altezzas from them a long time ago, and they seemed fine, with decent quality. I’ve never installed them though, but they look as though they’d hold up fine. I deceided that I liked stock better (I bought them back before altezzas were TOO common, and my friends and I thought they looked good initially, but now I’m attached to my stockies.)
I’ve noticed that no one here likes altezzas. But i actually like mine, they’re carbon fiber look Gen. 2 with the angel halo from procarparts.com. they are atcually pretty good, i’ve only had them for 3 months. i only intended to have them on for a week while i cleared the yellow part out of my stock ones, but it complemented the car really well so i kept them on. but yeah procarparts altezzs are fine, well the ones i got anyway. plus i ahvent seen them on a g2 yet. but i do admit i hate seeing a g2 with the chrome housed altezzas, looks weird.
i have the carbon fiber lights on my car too, i personaly think on a black car(mine) they look better then stock or the altezzas with the silver backing on them.
thanks for replying… yeah, I do think that altezza’s are in general far too mainstream now, but in my town/area, the only ones to be seen are on civics (EVERY civic…!), so I think that for me putting altezzas on a 2g would be pretty original as I have never seen it around here before, in SoConn. My teg is the metallic blue color and I have all blue accent lighting and some white stuff, so I think that the traditional chrome-based lights would be good, but then again, the carbon-fibers are kinda hot… I guess theres no real question to this post ahah but doesn anyone havea link to a picture of a 2g with altezzas?
(also, my last car was a prelude with altezza’s so I am very used to it)
how come nobody likes altezzas? but anyway if your worried about quality from someone unknow who you might probably never here from again after they ship you some shtty sht, then try this site www.cleartailights.com has clears altezzas and other stuff too.
hey if you dont wanna do altezzas then go old school and do all clear(look out for the cops tho)
no one likes them cus they are so popular and we get sick of seeing them. I found some that i had liked online awhile back but i don’t remember what website…they had some carbon fiber backed ones and some black and silver ones. I have a white g2 so i don’t want them. I think black backed altezza’s on a black teg would be the only way i liked them. I don’t like all clears even more…even on white tegs…but about every civic around having the altezza’s…why woud you want them too, we are better than those civics (cept i do like the new si’s). they suck, we don’t. End of story…haha civic altezza owners: please don’t shoot me

Quality of the altezzas are crap. Especially since you live in northern climates where your teg is exposed to winter temps. Mine got bent inside allowing light to pass through my rear signal. So, it looked like I was backing up all the time. You have been warned!
