saw this on ebay, I have a stock GS rite now, few bolt on’s to come in near future, just wondering how good an investment this chip would be?
would it only be useful if i have had major work done to do engine already?

what I want to know is if it has to be soldered in or if it just pops in? If you do a search in ebay, they have those Eproms for $15, so I would be willing to chance that if they didn’t need to be soldered in.
well the one i saw is for the whole ECU, not just the chip. So I guess it has been soldered in already.
What i really want to know is how much gains can be expected from it, on a stock car.
Joey, I saw a site that had dyno charts of some guys GSR that made more power with his stock ECU then with a Dinan one. I’d suggest you get your car with the bolt-ons you want and then get a chip custom taylored to your specific setup.
Hey joey I’m the one who bought the chip. I just been lazy to send the money. but I’ll send it thursday the money. I got another chip from ebay too. and I learn a lesson. email the person who’s selling the chip with tons of questions. oh buy the way make sure that when u get the chip it should come with 28 pin ic socket too. b-cuz I have the chip but no ic socket.

I haven’t have the time to out the chip in. I’m going to get another ecu so I can put the chip. then I have the extra just in case.
don’t buy chips from ebay… i highly recomend adrian…he is in canada… alot of members have bought from him and are very satisfied…i bought 4 chips with enough materials to chip 2 ecus for 55 shipped…u.s dollars…here is the site…
