I would totally be down for PIR on Friday if i can figure out whats wrong with my DB1. Was headed down there Saturday and it went all the way to hot… So i have to tear into this week and do some troubleshooting…
I used to have that problem when I had my stock motor all it was for me was leaky radiator hoses I used some stop leak and that helped for awhile
Im going to check it out so hopefully i can make it to PIR. Haven’t raced my car since header, full exhaust and nitrous Jet upgrade.
Water disappearing, dont see any leaks, no smoke, none in oil, no extra pressure in cooling system, but pulled number 1 plug after warm and got some steam or smoke. Hmm dont know. Gotta find a compresion tester…
Where Are you located in Oregon? A shop called VIP performance has helped me out a lot. They are good people so if you can’t find anything I’d go there
Im just in Oregon city… Ive heard of them, but i am a Mr. do it all myself, lol. Never had anyone work on my car for me. I just have to forget about my accord project for a minute to get on it… Actually next year im hoping to open my own shop as i am inheriting a 2500 sq foot shop. :rockon:

well if the stupid Oregon weather would let us have a nice Saturday Sunday Monday weekend… Get this, A&W in boring off of hwy26. I will be there Saturday May 9th (weather permitting) @ 6:30 or 7:00pm. if ya wanna go then come. (Bring your: Appetite, Camera, $$$, and other G2’s)

Hey I tryed this a few year ago and didnt turn out too well… it seems like we have a mixture of people from mid oregon to portland. Well I have 8 acres on the santiam river in Lyons (Between Salem and Detroit lake) with huge grass yard perfect for a photo shoot, it would be perfect for a BIG meet… Its about an hour south of Portland. Also there is a lot of back roads up to Detroit Lake for a nice day cruise and more photo shoots… Then Maybe BBQ some burgers and drink some beer etc… If we can get like 8 or more cars ready im sure that I an host it.
Let me know. Its going to be NICE soon and be awesome to get together with some people that are into the same shit that My girlfriend and I are.
Going out of town next week so maybe some time in June… Whos in? Maybe even invite some 3rd gens, civic, accords, etc.
