Other cars on your wish list

I saw a thread on the CRX Forum that I had to bring to G2IC. What car or cars would you like to add to your collection? Most of my cars are either special editions or last production year vehicles.

What I have:
91 Integra LS-S
91 CRX Si
91 CRX Dx (parting out)
66 Mustang (two tone interior, center console car)
05 Excursion Limited
06 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ / LWB)
15 Kia Soul Red Zone 2.0

What I want, or dream of having:
65 Malibu SS
69 GTO (judge or clone)
71 Chevelle SS hard top

My next will probibly be my father inlaw’s 64 stepside Chevy pick up with a 400 ci Pontiac.

Gtr.

Nismo gtr
Laguna seca mustang
Acura NSX

And of course a db2:)

GT350R
Diablo roadster, 99 or 2000
F40
250gt swb
330 superamerica
F1 Longtail

84 Porsche 930
E30 M3
First Gen Escort RS 1600
Porsche 918

Maybe an ITR one day, just no really good candidates left anymore.

LF-A or and RC-F and a place where I can drive them without bumper to bumper traffic daily from 2:30p-7:00p or the threat of unplowed roads 4.5 months out of the year. Also somewhere where parking isn’t $400/month.

Ferrari Enzo
Mclaren F1 GTR
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
JUN R33 GTR

In reality that fits my budget:
99-05 Porsche 911 Carrera
C5 Z06 Corvette
Jeep SRT-8

Just watch that IMS bearing on the 911.

Yeah I’m aware of that issue. But since it’s not a daily I’m not too concerned about it. Apparently the failure rate isn’t as bad as its made out to be. Also I think I’m going with the Z06 anyway. Parts are cheaper and it’s more bang for the buck.

Hell cat too that is by far the best bang for your buck now a days and realistically affordable

I wanna keep things simple and realistic. I’d go for a Lotus Espirit or NSX.

I’m happy with early 90’s tech too.

Good call. And I’m with you on the failure rate, but the ones that do fail, it’s pretty damn spectacular. :uhoh:

In fairness, about $1000 for the ceramic unit and installation at a competent porsche mechanic (even a lot of dealerships will install them now) will basically yield an INCREDIBLE handling car that’s also tame enough and reliable enough to be a 150k-mile daily driver if you want it to be.

No flies on the Z06 though. Friend of mine found a CHERRY blue one with basically all the mods he wanted to do, and brand new tires, 27k miles on the clock for 20k even. He made out like a bandit. Thing ain’t slow, that’s for sure.

Electric blue r32 or r34 gtr, 67 camaro as or new awd camaro ss, the gran turismo 5 Ford gt, 60’s continental 4 door (suicide rear doors), 57 belair hotrod, 58 impala hotrod, convertible, an Aston Martin vanquish… Any year I guess. I’m missing a few older ones.

Currently saving up for a Fiat 500 Abarth as my new daily. Cars on my I’ll never be able to afford wish list. Ferrari f40, 997 gt2-rs, TVR Sagaris, Lancia Delta HF, and an evo 5…oh and a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth as well

You’re friend might have a warrant out for his arrest for theft. That’s an incredible deal with that mileage.

Tell me about it.

I’m just anxious to see pricing on '15-16 models here in a couple years.

Too many cars on my do want list… But I’m thinking about buying something around $8000 to use as a beater. The 370Z is very uncomfortable and I’m getting tired of the blind spots.

I heard it’s a hit with coffee billionaires.

The tree fiddy wasn’t much better with the blind spots, and it got considerably less comfy when I changed out the tires for good ones…but lord did it like going around corners.

The tree fiddy is relatively the same shape so its no surprise they don’t let you look out the back or rear side either, I think it wouldn’t be as bad of an issue if I were shorter as I can only see the front end of cars in my rear view mirror when they are near by. I’d imagine the 350Z being a bit less comfortable though since it’s lol worthy how there’s little to no sound deadening material in the 370z so I can imagine it being louder in the treefiddy and the material used in the interior on the treefiddy is mostly hard plastics. Mine is a sport touring so I have at least leather/alcantara, heated seats and navigation but it also means the wheels are 19" with rubber band tires so it lets you know you ran over a pebble.

Mine was a touring, heated power leather seats. Drove it from MD to IA a couple times, no issues. Back injury from AFG too didn’t cause problems. OE tires had fairly soft sidewalls though, which helped immensely. Once i put the rpf-1s on, totally different story.
