Alright . Well i have a black 92 integra ls with a single stage paint job painted a year ago.My car broke down and i tore apart my car in a friends garage. we spray stuff like lips and rims in that garage.and my dumb ass was too lazy to pull my car out.well now i have over spray on my whole car.and i was wondering how would i go about removing this over spray? Would rubbing compound work? thanks for reading guys
unfortunatly bro u gotta just buff that shit out…
it shouldnt take to much. i think you can use prepsol but youll still have to buff it afterwards. dont use gunwash or similar
Try clay bar.
I’d go with a clay bar
I had this problem before. I used nylon spotter, it took everything off. You HAVE to wash and wax your car after, though!!!
clay bar will do the job
A single stage black? Yeah that’s tricky. Is your paint laquer? So yes try clay bar first let us know how that works.
If that doesn’t do the trick then some cool solvents.
If your paint is lacquer and the overspray is enamel ie krylon
you can get some solvents that won’t burn the lacquer but will
remove the enamel.
I can do some research if I know what types of paints your dealing with.
I’m not a car painter but I’ve been in the paint industry for thirteen yrs
and I’ve removed more overspray than I care to remember.
Good luck
