hey whats up
if i have a bad o2 sensor does the check engine light go on or not
becasue i have that hesatation and power lose that people are saying might be caused by the o2 sensoer
and how hard is it to replace it :burnout:
thanks
If the o2 sensor is completely shot, yea it’ll throw a check engine light. Best way of finding out is by seeing what kind of codes your ecu throws out at you. Check teg tips.
one way to tell is to pull out the o2 sensor (light WILL come on) then drive it, if it feels better then replace the o2 if not maybe check your plugs, dist cap, etc. HTH

i second that! about 20 dollars cheaper than my local autoparts store, OEM fit and free priority shipping…at your door in 2 days.
hey thanks every one i will unplug it this week end and see if it is any bettey. if it is abad will ti be hard to replace or is it pretty easy
you have a 1990 right? it shouldn’t be that hard. for us 92-93’s it’s a little more of pain, because it’s located at the far end of the exhaust manifold or header.
yeah i have a 1990.
thanks every one
i will be doing that this week end
yea, my 92 it was only tricky cause i was on my back, but the old sensor came out fairly easy!

the easiest thing to do is get a new oxygen sensor if/when you get a new header… that way you don’t have to worry about reaching up and unscrewing it if it’s seized on their tight.
ok i will be checking it out this weekend.
i will probably be getting a header in the summer im kind of short on money right now plus i want to the body work , paint it and lower it before i do that
thanks
