After a brutal winter in jersey, march came along so i decided to go and smog the car. Well, it failed so Im in the process of changing the cams back to stock. and here are some pics

I finally got around to start working on the car to get ready for Honda Day in august, here are some updates

moved the battery to the back
did the timing belt, water pump, headgasket, and ARP head studs just because
polished the trans for paint and working on the block as well

started taking everything off to drop the b17, but first a test fit, I didnt want to get traction bars, due to a bad experience with the AVID bars i had. I miss my db2 in white but it had alot of rust cancer that it was not even worth fixing it.

what i had to do since my jack couldnt go any higher when i dropped the tank to change the fuel pump
I still dont regret putting the 90-91 front bumper to complete the kit on my DB2, i like the 92-93 bumper best with the lip, ill also be fixing the overbite when im done putting everything back together
I also picked up this lil gem, one owner bone stock. I put the wheels on it and dropped the front, then changed the suspension back to stock. I really dont know what to do with it. I dont want to get rid of itbecause i got it for 400 bucks. It belonged to an old ladys husband who passed away. After about a year I finally asked her if she wanted to sell it, she said she wasnt really sure how much it was worth and said just give me 300, so i felt kinda bad and gave her 400 instead. However, since the car sat for so long, i had to replace axles, all rotors and pads, windshield, inner/outer tie rods. Im stalling on it, because it needs paint so any money put into it right now would take away from the DB2…idk we will see. 1993 SI 5speed with 210K

Got the car running, but it missfiring at idle and smoking heavy at times.
After ruling out my cheap ebay catch can install, i decided to do a leakdown and compression test and these were the results
I figure it was the rings no big deal, put new bearings, hone the walls, fresh rings and go for a retune…this is what i found
Long story short, right before i took out the swap from the da9 on my last fill up, the guy put 87 regular gas. I caught it as it was @ $27. I was so mad, because the car was dyno tuned on super 93. Lets just say that the gas station guy doesnt like me much after our convo. ((((((in JERSEY we dont pump our own gas))))) I drove the car staying out of boost trying to waste the gas, until one day i was in the freeway and decided to speed alil in 5th nothing crazy, and got crazy amounts of backfire and the car starting missfiring so i took it home and started taking out the engine because i had already purchased the DB2 and was going to get rid of the DA9. so after 2 years i didnt think anything of it and well this is what happend that night
