In the midst removing power steering from my car, need to know what this plug is. Some kind of p/steer fluid pressure sensor??? It’s screwed into the line that feeds into the pump and it’s connected to an electrical connector on the other end. Do i need this? Can I just leave it disconnected?

you are correct it is the power steering fluid pressure sender. one wire goes to ground and the other goes to the ECU. You can leave it unhooked but the ECU will flash the code for Power steering. Not a big deal.
