Kiwi (Jeff Owen)form Special Products Motorsports is intrested in making a new functional front air dam and splitter for our cars, both style bumpers. Is there anyone in the Orange, California area that has a spare 92/93 and/or 90/91 front bumper sitting that might consider lending it to Kiwi for a short peroid to make a mold for a new P1 splitter for our cars?
if you posted this in the discussion threads you might get more responces… just look how the asr brace one blew up

Well, since no one else has replied yet… Marc, I have two DA’s with 92-93 bumpers and a 90-91 bumper which was recently torn off of our race car in a little accident. I’d have no problem lending one or both (not sure if the damage to the 90-91 bumper is too much) but all of these cars are located over an hour away from me and I have no idea when I’ll be headed out that way again. If someone else can source one quickly, go for it, but if for some odd reason no one else chimes in I’ll pick 'em up next time I’m out in Temecula.
Does he need just the cover? or will he need other bits (support…)

Thanks for stepping up, from my understanding Kiwi only needs the cover however I will send him a short email attempting to definitively clarify what he needs and will post up his response.
i use to live in orange, maybe i can find a front bumper cover for cheap, and i’ll just send it over there. i’ve been interested in splitters specifically for our cars anyways. i’ll post on here once i find some.

I received a message back from Kiwi, all he requires to build an air dam and splitter is the temporary non damaging use of a bumper cover from each model. Anyone who can get a bumper cover 90/91 or 92/93 over to him at:

im a little foggy on body lingwo, when you say air dam are you talkin about a diff front end? and the splitter is the strip at the bottom of the cover right?

In this instance the horizontal surface protruding at the bottom of the front end is the splitter and the vertical surface at the bottom of the front end just above the splitter is the air dam.
If that is not understandable let me know and I will post a picture.

ok, hell yeah, im down for one if the price is right and im not broke when its done. now someone just needs to make a replica of the oem kit and i’ll be happy
