I have an ls block and i bought some stock p72 pistons online. Why doesnt fit in the ls block? The p72 are too big in diameter. Wtf. Some input would be great.
Theyll go in, make sure the rings are being completely compressed as you put it in the cylinder, then it should drop right in
Yup, they should work. Both blocks are an 81mm bore. Unless of course you bought “oversized” pistons which are typically used when you do a rebuild. The OEM “oversize” pistons are 81.25mm and many aftermarket oversize pistons are 81.5mm.
