so i have searched and searched and searched, and i have found a 50/50 mix between you need to mill your rods and dont need to. This is the final word on it: you DO NOT need to mill your rods to fit the pistons. I just installed some onto my PR4 rods and put them in the block which is a stock B18A block and crank, and there is no contact between the rods and pistons. let me know if there are any questions.
Is the head attached? Rotated yet? The stock ls rods are fine its the rod bolts that are crap and since your still stock stroke your bottom end is fine… Im just wondering about using a ls head… Maybe too much compression
head is on and car runs fine, wicked high compression though 91 is needed
