i picked up some typer pistons on gsr rods the other day. i want to build a basic bottom end out of a b18a block i have to slap on my lsv . i was also thinking about buying a typer crank from this guy in the next town over. will all this work? i tried searching for like 20 min and it wouldnt run any searches for me. im kinda new to this honda thing as far as mapping out bottom ends.

i have a b18b bottom end with a pr3 head, itr cams, ctr valvetrain, skunk2 cam gears, venom fuel rail , b&m fpr, 7.5 lb fidanza, with an act stage 4. for my build currently i have a b18a, and p73’s on p72’s. all the local machine shops are scared to take them off the rods b/c they dont want to mess up the pistons. i can also buy a itr crank for 250. which by the way how can i tell it apart from any other b series crank so i know hes not ripping me off? also all said and done i also have a vafc and msd sci for it. but i dont want to do anything else untill i build this bottom end.
so yeah, i have a b18a, and type r pistons stock bore on gsr rods and im gonna buy a type r crank. what has to be done. please guys everytime i go to search the page never loads results.
if im not mistaken that would be a bad idea to put the type r crank into ur b18a block seein how the b18a crank has a longer stroke then the type r crank…
