Painted rear tail something wrong

I painted the rear hatch with touch up paint rattles. Than cleared it. Looks really good. Paint, clear, 1500 wet, 2000 wet compound, poish, and than wax. The problem is that the clear scartches really easy. With just your finger rubbing across it. I need to redo the compound polish wax to remove the scratches.

Problem that mybe it. I paint and clear on one day and next day sanded buff and wax. Had read not to wax so soon so i washed it off with dish soap to remove wax. Still the same problem

And i also did my rear bumper but only paint and clear and doesnt scartch as easy i wound even say it doesnt.

Any ideals what i did wrong. I did this almost two weeks ago.

after you clear… it is best to wait at least 2 dry days to let the paint and clear settle and cure. when its cured its hardened, you can then begin to wetsand, compound, and polish. i would wait another day before waxing so the polish can cure also. But since you have already waxed it and what i not…here is what i recomend… scuff it all up with 1000 grit dry or wet, prep and re-clear, let it dry and cure, wetsand with 3000, rubbing compound, polish, and then wax.

this should shine it all up and should scratch so easily as long as you give it time to breathe and harden.
