anyone know of a way to get paint off of my tailights? i want to try and clear them out so should i just start sanding the paint all the way down and make em super duper clean or what? any help would be greatly appreciate. thanks guys, seeya.
Put tape over the part you want to stay red and use some paint thinner on a brush. Thats what I’d do.

i want it to go back to 100% stock. clear, orange, and red so i can dismantle them and clear them out like you see other members doing. the paint’s on there thick and has been on there for a while now. are you sure paint thinner won’t hurt the lense? thanks for the quick reply.
Ok I’m confused. What is on your car right now? From your pic I’m assuming you had the clear, then painted the bottom, then painted the top too. If you wanted the red bottom with clear top, why would you put the Orange back in there.
As for the paint thinner, no its probably not the best thing for the plastic if you left it on there, but if you clean it when you’re done and put some plastic wax and polish on there, I’m sure it will be fine for years to come.

on my car (avatar pic too) are clears painted red, but since i had the factory ones i thought it’d be cool to paint em. well now that i have forever to make them clear ( i hear it’s just time consuming thats all ) i want to get all the old paint off, and then clear the top out, and maybe sell em or give em to a friend or what. does that make sense? im not messing w/ the clears painted red on my car…repeat. not messing with those
i have stock tails in my garage. but i painted them red a while ago. now i want to get all that paint off and after that, clear the top out for that clean look. sorry im really confusing sometimes, my b. check ya later. (in like 30 seconds ) haha.
Ahhhh, now I understand. Yeah, just paint thinner and wax and polish. Then follow the Teg Tips, clear them out and sell them to make some extra $$$.

i think im gonna try those on my spray painted black rims and try to trade them for some 94-95 gsr rims…ooh…ahhh…probobly wont happen though. just wanna see it if works. if the paint is on there thick ( the tailights ) just use a lot of it or what? thanks. later.
