Hey there. I’m in the middle of painting my 91 GS hatch… im looking to do the jamb on the hatch soon… but would love to just remove the hatch as a whole… anyone know how easy/hard that is to do? And if so , specifically how many bolts and placement of bolts? Any sort of help would be much appreciated. Thanks! I’ll post pics when im all done. =)

its pretty self explanitory if you just lift up the hatch and look. I pulled the hatch off my parts car and it was super easy. Just remove the hatch shocks/props, then there are 4 bolts up at the top that hold the hinges in place. Remove them and the hatch is detached. Thats all that really holds it in… but don’t forget to detach the wires leading into the hatch.
u might want an extra pair of hands for that too.
