sorry if i sound stupid, but i have this set of wheels that has a TON of curb damage, im going to fix them and paint them flat black and throw them on my teg, so my question is, if i spray the wheels with flat black and then put on clear coat, will that make the wheels shiny? cause i wanna keep them FLAT black, any help appreciated:)
you need to spray a satin clear coat

Well the clear coat acts as a protective layer. It helps the flat paint from not scratching easily…

if u armor oil the tires i wouldnt paint em flat black cuz they will make the rims shiny if u get a small smear of it on the rims and i would go satin black just my opinion
