autozone has a spray can for platic interior trim, no prep or sanding needed… .

I used it on my interior and so far its great. I did lightly sand down before I painted… I havent try this on the doors yet…

I wouldn’t use paint for plastic to paint vinyl with, i used duplicolor flat black paint on my interior pieces and they all dried withing 10 minutes to touch, takes about a day to cure. Check out my build thread for tons of pics of the pieces i did

yeah I wouldnt paint the soft vinyl sections either but for the rest of the panels its safe…

I used landau black on my car and it turned out great, very oem style quality. You just need to stick mutliple layers cause it will flake off if scratched hard.

i re-did my entire interior with duplicolor oem trim paint. its a green can. all of the pieces came out perfect. you just have to do light coats or else it bleeds very easily.

i even used it on my door panels and my gauge bezel and all that… EVERYTHING…

I painted my tan door panels with flat black Duplicolor vinyl dye spray paint 7 years ago and they still look like I just did them. For plastic pieces I’ve used satin black Krylon Fusion with good results.
