I would like to paint my wheel trims, since I repaired the cracks and the broken parts. First of all, do I have to remove the paint that’s already on the wheel trim? If so, which way do you recommend me to remove the paint? Finally, what kind of paint do you recommend me to paint the wheel trims? Thank you in advance, have a good ride!
uuMO the best way is sandpapering them, but use 2 different grades, first with a lower grade and then with a finer one 
you can also use paint remover but I am not sure about its side efffects on the plastic. I remember seeing threads about how people repainted their head covers, and there I saw pictures of some paint removers. Anyway if somebody knows about the chemistry of those removers please post.
