Parts list recommendation during clutch replacement

Hi all,

I am taking advantage of the winter break to refresh numerous aspects of my track car. I am planning on the following:

-Header
-Shift linkage and bushings
-Install refreshed transmission, new clutch, & flywheel

Is there a recommended parts list of wear items to replace while in there doing a tranny/flywheel/clutch?

getting a clutch kit? if not, replace throwout bearing and pilot bearing. might as well change the crankshaft oil seal.

While your in there…
The clutch cable
The clutch spring
Pilot and throw out bearing
Rear main seal
Transmission oil

All i can think of.

Axle seals?

So far i am planning on:

  • Clutch
  • Flywheel
  • Pressure plate
  • Clutch cable
  • TO bearing
  • Pilot bearing
  • Axle seals
  • Release fork spring
  • Rear main seal

What fluid is recommended?

I’d stick to Honda MTF. If it grinds, try a reputable syncromesh.

When that transmission was new, simply 10w30 motor oil was the recommendation.

i stopped using honda MTF and went with amsoil syncromesh its good stuff and my tranny is soo smooth
