How the heck do you get it out? It’s all unbolted and I’ve tried everything short of taking the engine out to remove it. I need to install inserts into it. I even unbolted the driver’s side mount and the one in the front and tried lowering the engine and tilting the engine to one side then the other and no dice. Someone please help me NOW!!
Did you pull out the bolt that goes up through the mount from the bottom??
There should be 1 bolt going through it, 1 bolt from the top, 1 nut from the top and 1 bolt from the bottom.
Just pull all of those out and it should come right out. That is if you have a manual transmission… It is different if you have an automatic. If you do have an auto just let me know and I will tell you how to get it off.

Yes I took out every nut and bolt. I had the thing loose in my hands I just couldn’t wriggle it out of it’s home. And it is a manual. Does the engine have to be lowered or raised or tilted or something funky? The bolt that goes straight up through the mount that has the nut on it is where it was getting hung up. I don’t know what else to try.
Try a crowbar or some type of prybar and pry it off of there.

So I’m not crazy? It is tough to get out? I tried a little WD-40, it was the only thing I had. Perhaps I’ll try to get a mini crowbar and some real lube to try to get it out tomorrow. Well, at least I’m good at getting the mounts all unbolted by now.
hey if its the one I’m thinking of up by the radiator? I had to use a long pole and just beat the heck outta it pretty sturdy it will take a beatin
