My leak seems to be making the drivers side floor board wet but nothing else really??? Is it the same fix? Or do you think the problem originates elsewhere?
the dead pedal can leak some water if it broke off ive heard… might wanna look into that
I went to fix this today and noticed that all of the threaded white plastic cowl holders have the threaded part snapped off. So, does anyone know the part number for these? Looking at acuraautomotive is looks like #88560 (#30 in the hood section). Thanks.
yes its #30… i had to get one for my car as it was broke off and the cover was glued on with gasket maker (previous owner) i noticed that the new ones make the cowl fit alot snugger than reusing the old ones did

Ok, so I happened upon this fix a year or more ago… Now, I"m finally getting around to replacing seals. Go figure, pics are dead.
I remember the pics and procedure, so I can get the job done without someone restoring them, but figured a ttt/bump for this thread wouldn’t hurt, especially for future users of this fix.
So, if it’s not too much trouble, can someone dig those pics up and repost?

the boots look like nipples… if you want a picture of under the cowl (the panel above the boots) i can take a picture of that… i cant pull it off as i did that on my car and it tore 2 of the new boots… and i dont wanna risk it… specialy since its rainy season/hurricane season down here lol

ours did that … take it off and let it sit in the sun… and when you put it back on with the new clips… it holds it snug (atleast in our case) yours look a little worse tho… now if thats because the clips arent holding at all i dont know
