I was just driving my car down my road while i was datalogging, and when i was pulling into someones driveway to turn around my passenger side blinker was blinking fast like the bulb was blown. So i go back to my house and check it out.
All my bulbs are good but my passenger side headlight is much dimmer than the other, it still goes from high beam to low. But its much dimmer than the other one.
What “head light” is dimmer, the low beam or high beam, or both?
There is no relay for head lights. 94
Both, high and low are very dim.
In my experience, a fast blinking blinker is caused by a break or short in the blinker’s wiring, somewhere in the group of them…
Did you check you’re fuses?
Yea, all my fuses are good… I have one piece headlights with h4’s wired in my car, could that have something to do with it? I didnt install them so i have no idea if its a bad connection or something.
Then again that would indicate a grounding issue, the high and low beam share a common ground but have separate power circuits, [from the fuses box] the left and right side have a common circuit before the fuses, [so it can’t be the head light switch].
You have tried swapping the bulbs left to right/right to left to eliminate the bulb itself as a problem, right?
If so, and the pass. side is still dim, then I would have a close look at the connection of the H4 bulb harness to the stock head light wiring, paying close attention to the ground.94
