Passenger side foglight not working anymore.

Before I begin…I have used Google, and I’ve searched through this site, and found nothing.

My brother (username “Hostility”) has a '93 DA9, oem headlights and everything.

Problem: While the driver side works fine, his passenger side foglight is not working anymore. It was working when he got the car a year ago, and worked for about 3 months, and suddenly stopped.

We have checked/replaced the bulbs and fuses, but they were all fine.

Our cousin used a test light on the harnes for the headlights, and stated that "there is no power getting to it.

I don’t entirely trust his “diagnosis” (if you can even call it that.), but incase he is correct, how would I go about fixing the issue.?

I would like to find a simple wiring diagram or just a “look here” type of thing, as I am not electronically-inclined with car wiring, etc.

If someone could post some pics of under the dash or something, I would greatly appreciate it.

The use of the foglights are pretty big for his car, being that the headlights alone are horrible, and don’t produce enough light to REALLY safely use the car at night. (We’ve re-aligned them, new bulbs, etc. Honda headlights suck.)

Anyone?

Honda headlights do suck. Bump since I’m no help.

I appreciate the effort, good sir.

well, you really have to find out for sure if you’re getting power there or not. do you have a 12v test light?

I have to agree with welfare, you need to test for power and ground at the bulb socket. 94

Thanks guys, but like I said in the OP, the test light showed no power, so where would I unhook the harness for the foglight? Is the harness even PnP?

The fog light relay has one output, that output splits into the left and right sides at some point down the line, the problem must be at the point that it splits from the single line to the left and right side or after that on the right side.

You are going to have to trace the right side back to where the problem is. 94
